Technical Proofreading/Light Editing:

ALL WORK IS PERFORMED IN THE UNITED STATES BY EXPERIENCED TECHNICAL PROFESSIONALS FLUENT IN ENGLISH.

• * Minimum charge is $30.
• One page is equal to a double-spaced, 12 font, 250-word page.
• Special pricing arrangements can be made for extended proofreading assignments.
• Special turn-around arrangements can be made to facilitate publication deadlines.
• Electronic or hard copy files are accepted. Digital files should be formatted using MS Word (preferred), Powerpoint, or pdf. Submissions are accepted by email, ftp, fax, or express mail.
• Payment is due upon receipt of the completed document. International orders must be prepaid.

Standard turn-around is 1 – 3 business days for technical documents, and 3 – 5 business days for legal documents (patents). Large documents (greater than 25 pages) may require additional time. Expedited service may be available, depending upon the size and complexity of the document.

A complete set of documents must be provided for an accurate quotation. An estimate of cost and delivery is provided for all submissions, and written approval (and billing information) is required prior to starting any review. All estimates are provided for free, with no obligation.

Printed or pdf copies of the documents with standard proofreading marks are returned for hard copies. For documents submitted in MS Word, a Word document is returned showing all suggested changes (using Track Change feature of Word).

Documents are returned by email, CD-ROM, or hard copy. 

Shipping costs are added to the final invoice.
